Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 08/14/09
Receipts: 1510 Week ago: 549 Year ago: 679
Compared to last week steers and heifers steady except 600 to 700
pound heifers 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Very nice offering of feeders in
today’s offering as most of the feeders were weaned with two rounds of
health shots. Supply moderate. Demand good. Feeder offerings around
49 percent steers and bulls and 51 percent heifers. Offerings over
600 lbs around 58 percent. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 lower. Cows
around 1 percent.

500 lbs 105.50-114.00; 500-600 lbs 105.25-116.50; 600-700 lbs 100.25-
110.25; 700-800 lbs 97.75-106.25; 800-900 lbs 92.75-98.60. Medium And
Large 1-2 700-800 lbs 90.00-97.75. Large 1 pkg 780 lbs 99.75.
