Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 08/16/2019

Friday’s auction was a Special Bred Cow and pairs sale with a very
light offering of feeder cattle that sold in small packages and singles
many unweaned/short weaned calves sold off the cows that sold earlier in
the day. Slaughter cows sold steady with last week. Replacement cows
sold with moderate to good demand.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 few 300-350 lbs 175.00-178.00;
few 400-500 lbs 163.50-172.00; 500-550 lbs 156.00-164.50, 550-600 lbs
149.00-156.00; 600-650 lbs 140.00-145.00.
