Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 10/09/2015
Receipts: 649 Last Week: 499 Year ago: 939
Compared to last week, no good comparison on steer and heifer calves,
undertone firm to higher. Demand good. Supply light, mostly small packages
of 400-700 lbs calves, near 41 pct steers and bulls, 32 pct heifers, 24 pct
cows, 3 pct slaughter steers and heifers and 13 pct feeders over 600 lbs.
Slaughter cows firm to 1.00 higher.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 and 1-2 two pkgs 350-400 lbs 247.00;
small pkgs 425-500 lbs 215.00-236.00; 500-550 lbs 201.00-222.00; 550-600 lbs
