Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 10/04/2019
Receipts: 540 Week Ago: 1271 Year ago: 774
Compared to last week, a very light test on a light offering of mostly
unweaned steer, bull, and heifer calves selling right off the cows sold
with light to moderate demand. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm on a
nice offering. Even though this was a light offering, unweaned calves
are starting to show up and face discounts as compared to their weaned
counterparts.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 pkg unweaned 425 lbs 167.00; 450-
500 lbs unweaned 153.50-156.00; 500-600 lbs unwened 149.50-155.50.
Medium and Large 1-2 425-450 lbs 170.00-175.00; pkg 520 lbs 160.00; pkg
