Feeder Cattle Auction

Friday's auction had a light run of feeders that were lightly tested but 
for the most part sold mostly in the same price ranges as last week on 
comparable quality and weights.  Several bred cows were on offer mostly 
4-7 yrs in the 2nd and 3rd stage sold with moderate to good demand.  
Slaughter steers and heifers traded firm to 4.00 higher with a large 
offering of slaughter cows selling fully steady to firm.


  Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  few 400450 lbs 380.00-400.00; pkg 
585 lbs 342.50; 764 lbs 287.00; pkg 931 lbs 253.00.  Medium and Large 1-2  
pkg 593 lbs 322.50; few 650-700 lbs 272.50-285.00. 


  Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1/1-2  few 300-400 lbs 355.00-
3800.00; 400-500 lbs 329.00-345.00; 500-550 lbs few 312.50-335.00; 550-
