Compared to last week, light supply of steers 5.00-10.00 lower and heifers
weak to 5.00 lower. Demand light to moderate. Slaughter cows 1.00-3.00 lower.
Supply light on a cow special, mostly small packages of 450-850 lbs feeders and
two full pot-loads of partly fatten 975-1125 lbs heifers, near 30 pct steers
and bulls, 35 pct heifers, 35 pct cows and 20 pct feeders over 600 lbs.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 pkg 433 lbs 143.00; two pkgs unweaned 450-
480 lbs 129.50-136.00; small pkgs 500-575 lbs 120.50-130.50; pkg fleshy 820 lbs
118.25 and 935 lbs 113.00. Medium and Large 1-2 pkg 470 lbs 133.50; 545-565 lbs
