Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 06/01/2018
Receipts: 530 Week ago: 1519 Year ago: 525
Compared to last week there was too few feeders of anyone weight
range to test the market, with mostly singles and amall packages on a
ery light test. Slaughter cows accounted for near 40 percent of the
total receipts, slaughter steers and heifers accounted for near 13
percent with 47 percent feeders. Slaughter cows sold steady. Feeders
consisted of 60 percent steers and bulls, 40 percent heifers and 42
percent weighing over 600 lbs.
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 lot 653 lbs 144.00; few 700-750
lbs 138.00-143.50, 750-800 lbs 130.00-130.50. Medium and Large 2 pkg
535 lbs 147.00; 550-600 lbs few 139.00-146.00; pkg 795 lbs 121.50.
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 pkg 390 lbs 162.00; few 400-450
lbs 158.00-162.00, 450-500 lbs 143.50-147.50; 500-600 lbs 128.0-138.50;
600-700 lbs few 123.50-136.50; pkg 735 lbs 123.25.
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 pkg 380 lbs 169.00; few 400-500
lbs 158.00-161.00; 550-600 lbs 130.00-135.50; lot 650 lbs 131.25.
