Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 6/08/2018

   Comparisons this week very limited with the past couple of sales,

however yearling feeders traded with a higher undertone.  Most of the

calves sold in small packages with the trend near steady.   Three loads

of yearlings highlighted the afternoon offering with a load of 993 lb

steers falling just one dollar shy of 1300.00 per head.  Slaughter cows

1.00-2.00 higher and slaughter steers and heifers 2.00 higher.  Demand

moderate to good and supply moderate.  Cows accounted for 14 percent of

the receipts, 4 percent slaughter steers and heifers, and 82 percent

feeders.  In the feeder supply steers and bulls accounted for 51 percent,

49 percent heifers, and 75 percent weighed over 600 lbs.
