Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 9/15/2017

Friday's sale was a Special Bred Cow sale with a light run of feeder cattle
and not enough of anyone weight range to test the market. Mostly small packages
and groups of calves that were not weaned or short weaned selling with moderate
demand. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady. Slaughter and bred cows accounted
for 40 percent of the total receipts. Feeder supply included 55 percent steers
and bulls, 45 percent heifers and near 30 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
