Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 9/29/2017
Receipts: 627 Week ago: 1169 Year ago: 566
Compared to last week, a light offering of steer and heifer calves under
650 lbs sold steady on a light test with the majority of the calves unweaned and
carrying flesh. Slaughter cows accounted for near 23 percent of the total
receipts and traded steady to 2.00 higher. Feeder cattle supply consisted of 63
percent steers and bulls, 37 percent heifers and 38 percent weighing over 600
lbs.

167.50, 550-600 lbs unweaned/fleshy 152.00-158.50; 600-650 lbs calves unweaned
